Delegates from UNESCO and APSARA in Cambodia Visit President Nakamura

On Friday, January 27, Mr. Philippe Delanghe, Officer-in Charge of UNESCO Phnom Penh, Dr. Hang Peou, Deputy Director-General of Authority for the Protection and Management of Angkor and the Region of Siem Reap (APSARA), and Associate Professor Yuji Araki of Saitama University-Department of Education paid a courtesy visit to President Shin-ichi Nakamura. The purpose of the visit was to promote interaction such as student and researcher exchanges. At the meeting, they talked about their impression of each other’s institution, research work, and the souvenir items, and the conversation took place in a friendly atmosphere. From our university, President Nakamura, Vice President for Research and International Affairs Isamu Nagano, Professor Shinji Tsukawaki, and Professor Masami Furuuchi were in attendance.
