From April 5 to June 29, 18 international students from Leiden University (Netherlands) participated in a specially designed Exchange Program at Kanazawa University.
During this program, the students were enrolled in the Japanese language courses as well as Japanese culture and society courses, and participated in the “Hyakumangoku Odori Nagashi” of the Hyakumangoku Festival held in Kanazawa City, where they experienced Japan culture firsthand.
During their three-month stay at Kanazawa University, the students not only deepened their understanding of the Japanese language and culture, but also enjoyed interaction with domestic students.
At the closing ceremony held on the last day of the program, Vice-Director of Organaization of Global Affairs Akira Ota presented certificates of enrollment to the students.
