Exemption from dormitory fees for student/international student dormitories
If it is recognized that it is difficult to pay the dormitory fees due to the effects of the 2024 Noto Peninsula Earthquake, students residing in the student/international student dormitories will be exempted from payment of all the dormitory fees for up to 6 months at the longest from the month following the disaster, according to Kanazawa Universityʼs regulations.
If you wish to use this support, please apply as follows.
Please note that this will not necessarily mean that you will be exempted, as this will be determined comprehensively based on the damage situation and so on.
Eligible person:
Residents of Student/International Student Dormitory “ Sakigake ” or “Hokumei”
Applicable period:
February 1, 2024 to July 31, 2024
Support conditions:
The resident or the person primarily responsible for the resident’s educational expenses must be unable to pay the dormitory fees due to the effects of the Noto Peninsula Earthquake.
