1月18日，モンゴル国立医科大学のバトバータル・グンチン副学長（学務担当・前学長）が来学し，山崎光悦学長を表敬訪問しました。バトバータル副学長は，本学医薬保健研究域医学系に所属のダシツォードル・ニャムバヤル准教授の紹介にて，昨年末より本学附属病院に入院されていました。無事に手術が成功し，退院され，帰国を前に本学を公式訪問されました。懇談の間，深い感謝の意を述べられるとともに，附属病院の質の高さ，特に病院マネジメントと医療技術の高さに感銘されたことを言及され，帰国後すぐにでも本学とのコラボレーションを進めたいと，力強いお言葉をいただきました。モンゴル国立医科大学はモンゴル唯一の国立医科大学であり，2019年10月には日本の無償資金協力で建設されたモンゴル国立医科大学日本モンゴル病院を開院。本学とは2015年10月に大学間交流協定を締結し，国際共同研究が継続してすすめられています。今後更なる交流の拡大・発展が期待されます。
Vice President for Academic Affairs, Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences Visits Kanazawa University
On January 18, Prof. Batbaatar Gunchin, Vice president for Academic Affairs / former president, Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences (MNUMS), paid a courtesy visit to President Yamazaki Koetsu. Through his connection with Assoc. Prof. Dashtsoodol Nyambayar, who is affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine, Institute of Medical, Pharmaceutical and Health Sciences at KU, Prof. Batbaatar had been admitted to our University Hospital for a surgery since last year. After recovering and being discharged, he paid an official visit to KU before returning home. During the discussion, Prof. Batbaatar expressed his deep gratitude, and that he was impressed by our University Hospital’s high level of quality, especially its hospital management and organization, as well as clinical skills, and he expressed his strong desire to pursue the collaboration with KU as soon as he returns to Mongolia. MNUMS is the only national medical university in Mongolia, and they opened the first university hospital “MNUMS Mongolia-Japan Hospital” in Mongolia in 2019 with the support of JICA. KU concluded a University-Level Agreement for Cooperation and Exchange with MNUMS in October 2015, and international joint research is being promoted on an ongoing basis. Further expansion and development of the exchange are expected in the future.
