3月12日～16日の5日間にわたり，タイ向けの「日本留学・就職フェア」を開催しました。日本から21大学6企業の計27機関が参加し，タイ出身の学生や社会人を対象に，大学や企業について幅広く情報を提供しました。
本フェアは岡山大学から再委託を受けている「日本留学海外拠点連携推進事業（ASEAN）」の一環として，昨年度に引き続きオンラインで開催されました。
参加者は，特設ウェブサイトから希望のセッションに事前登録を行い，12日～13日には，約270人が各機関の紹介などを視聴，12日～16日には，約350人の留学希望者が各大学の担当者と，約40人の就職希望者が各企業と，それぞれオンラインで個別相談を行いました。参加総数は大学生・大学院生を中心に延べ660人を超え，コロナ禍にあっても，日本留学に対する関心の高さが伺えました。
今後も，バンコク事務所を拠点とし，留学フェアをはじめとするさまざまなイベントを通じて，日本留学の魅力を発信していきます。
Kanazawa University hosted the “Study and Job in Japan Online Fair” for Thailand for five days from March 12 to 16. A total of 27 institutions from 21 universities and 6 companies from Japan participated, providing a wide range of information about universities and companies for students and adults from Thailand.
This fair was held online as in the previous year as part of the ” Study in Japan Global Network Project (ASEAN)”, which was re-commissioned by Okayama University.
Participants pre-registered for the desired session from the special website. From the 12th to the 13th, approximately 270 people watched introductions of each institution, and from the 12th to the 16th, approximately 350 people who want to study in Japan and 40 people who want to get employment in Japan had individual consultations with the person in charge of each university and company. The total number of participants, mainly university and graduate students, exceeded 660, showing a high interest in studying in Japan, even in the face of the corona-virus pandemic.
We will continue to promote the appeal of studying in Japan through various events, including Study in Japan Fair, based in our Bangkok office.
