10月17日，外務省が実施する青少年交流事業「JENESYS2.0」の一環として，タイの大学生24名らが本学を訪問しました。一行は，角間キャンパスを視察した後，本学学生と一緒に金沢大学創立五十周年記念館「角間の里」において地元の食材である五郎島金時を使った和菓子を作り，交流を深めました。また，タイの大学生が民族衣装で伝統の遊びを披露するなど，互いの文化を肌で感じる有意義な時間となりました。
On October 17, 24 university students from Thailand visited Kanazawa University as a part of JENESYS 2.0 Program sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. The visitor team toured Kakuma Campus, and after that, they deepened exchange through making Japanese cake made from Gorojima sweet potato, which is the local food, with KU students at Kakuma-no-sato House. In addition, Thai students who wore their folk costume demonstrated a traditional children’s game. The interaction was meaningful for students from both sides.
