2023年2月6日未明にシリア国境に近いトルコ南東部で発生した地震により亡くなられた方々とそのご家族に深い哀悼の意を捧げますとともに、被災されました多くの方々に対し、心よりお見舞い申し上げます。
トルコ、シリアとは教育・研究でさまざまに交流を行っており、本学とは大変関係の深い両国です。トルコには２つの国際交流協定校もあります。
被災された皆さまの生活が一日も早く平常に復するとともに、被災地の復興を祈念いたしております。

To the victims of the Turkey-Syria earthquake
We offer our deepest condolences to the victims and their families of the earthquake that struck southeastern Turkey and neighboring northern Syria in the early hours of February 6, 2023, and our heartfelt sympathy to all the people affected by the disaster.
Kanazawa University has a close relationship with Turkey and Syria through various educational and research exchanges. We also have two international exchange agreements with Turkey.
We hope that the lives of those affected by the disaster will be restored to normal as soon as possible, and we pray for the recovery of the affected areas.
