3月30日，タイのナレースワン大学学長一行が和田隆志学長を表敬訪問しました。
表敬ではまずSarintip Tantanee学長による，同大学に関するプレゼンテーションが行われ，相互の理解を深めました。
その後の意見交換では，医学系の分野だけでなく，新たに自然科学系及び工学系分野での交流を深めたいという両大学の意向を確認しました。
また，ナレースワン大学が位置するピッサヌローク市（Phitsanulok）が豊かな観光資源を持つことから，同じく観光立県である石川県に位置し，観光デザイン学類を有する金沢大学と持続的な観光開発に向けた協力について期する声が聞かれました。
On March 30, the President of Naresuan University and her associates paid a courtesy visit to President Wada. Dr. Sarintip Tantanee, the President of Naresuan University, gave a presentation about Naresuan University that helped to deepen mutual understanding.
The parties exchanged opinions on strengthening education and research activities not only in medicine but also in natural sciences and engineering.
Naresuan University is located in Phitsanulok City, which has many tourism resources. Similarly, Kanazawa University is located in Ishikawa Prefecture, which is very attractive for tourism, and has a School of Tourism Sciences and Design that gives opportunities for cooperation between two universities in sustainable tourism development.
