11月28日,29日,第13回日中学長会議が広島で開催され,本学からは和田学長,古畑徹国際学類長らが出席しました。
会議には,日本側は24の大学・関係機関から,中国側は20の大学・関係機関から合計約160名が参加し,「ポストコロナの新しい大学教育・ICTの活用」のテーマのもと,和田学長は本学のxR教材の活用について具体的な事例を交えて発表しました。ICT教育に加え,気候変動など地球規模の課題への対応についても活発な意見交換が行われました。
日中学長会議は次回,2年後の2025年に中国で開催される予定です。
President Wada attended the 13th Japan-China University Presidents’ Conference
On November 28th and 29th, the 13th Japan-China University Presidents’ Conference was held in Hiroshima. President Wada and Prof. Furuhata (Head of School of International Studies) attended te Conference.
A total of approximately 160 represantatives from 24 universities and related institutions of Japan and 20 universities and related institutions of China, participated in this conference. Under the theme of “New University Education and ICT Application in Post-Colonial Japan,” President Wada provided a presentation on the utilization of xR teaching materials at Kanazawa University, including specific examples. In addition to ICT education, the attendees exchanged opinions on how to deal with global issues such as climate change.
The next Japan-China University Presidents’ Conference will be held in China in two years, in 2025.
