台北駐日経済文化代表処一行が和田学長を表敬訪問／Delegation from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in Japan paid a courtesy visit to President Wada

　3月13日，台北駐日経済文化代表処から鄒 幼涵（ユーハン・ゾウ）代表処顧問ほか2名が来学し，和田隆志学長を表敬訪問しました。
　台北駐日経済文化代表処は，学術交流などをはじめとする外交の実務機関として，日本・台湾間の橋渡し的な役割を担っており，この度の表敬では，台湾の国家科学及技術委員会（National Science and Technology Council (NSTC))による国際的プログラム（Dragon Gate Program）についての紹介・説明がありました。
　このプログラムを通して，台湾は特に精密保健・AI・半導体・宇宙工学の分野で，学術研究の支援および人材育成に積極的に取り組んでいます。
　和田学長は，自然科学・生物科学・医学や工学の分野において，将来に向け研究交流を推進していきたい旨を述べました。

　On March 13, Dr Yu-Han Tsou, Senior Advisor & General Director, Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in Japan, and two other delegates paid a courtesy visit to President Takashi Wada.
　The Representative Office plays a crucial role as a bridge between Japan and Taiwan in the field of diplomacy, including academic exchange. During the courtesy call, the Dragon Gate Program, an international program of the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) of Taiwan, was introduced and explained to the participants.
　This program has enabled Taiwan to actively support academic research and the cultivation of human resources, particularly in the fields of Precision Health, AI, Semiconductors, and Space Technology.
　President Wada expressed his hope to promote research exchanges in the fields of Natural Sciences, Bio-Sciences, Medicine, and Engineering in the future.
