7月15日，本学附属高等学校は，平成26年度スーパーグローバルハイスクール(SGH)事業の一環として，石川県のPII(プリンストン・イン・いしかわ)事業で来県しているアメリカのプリンストン大学などの大学生27人を招いて本校2年生との交流授業を実施しました。
交流授業では，「食に関する国当てクイズ」「食文化に関するディスカッション」「食料問題に関するディスカッション」を実施。なかでも「食料問題に関するディスカッション」では，本校2年生が課題研究「グローバル提案」としてこの4月から調査している「遺伝子組み換え問題」について，これまでに調査してきたことを発表し，PII研修生と各国の事情について話し合うなど，世界の食文化や食料安全保障について理解を深めるとともに，相互交流を図る良い機会となりました。
On July 15, Kanazawa University Senior High School, which is affiliated with the School of Teacher Education, held an exchange event as a part of their SGH (Super Global High School) project for their 2nd year students and 27 PII students from Princeton University and other universities visiting on PII (Princeton In Ishikawa.)
The students discussed regional food, food culture and food problems. In the discussion on food problems, the high school students had a presentation on genetic recombination problems which they had been researching since this April and talked with PII students about their country’s situation. They deepened their understandings of food culture and food security in the world and had fruitful exchanges.
