7月9日，国際機構留学生センターは，第64回金沢百万石まつり「百万石踊り流し」で，本学留学生らの「学長と踊る金沢−地域と世界に輝く金沢大学をめざして−」チームが「汗かいたで賞」を受賞したことを記念し，祝賀会を開催しました。
祝賀会は山崎光悦学長によるあいさつで始まり，参加した留学生ら約50名が練習からまつり本番までを振り返り，懇談しました。踊り流しの様子を撮影した写真のスライドショーを見ながら，受賞の喜びを分かちあい，交流を深めました。
On July 9, International Student Center hosted a celebratory party for winning the “Good Sweat Prize” at Hyakumangoku-Odorinagashi.of the 64th Kanazawa Hyakumangoku Festival. The winning team, consisting of many international students, was named “Dancing with the KU President – Kanazawa University aiming to shine locally and globally.”
President Koetsu Yamazaki gave an opening speech, and approximately 50 international students came to this event. They looked back everything from the training sessions to the actual dance contest and enjoyed having conversations with other attendees. As they looked at the slide shows of their dancing pictures, the team members shared their joy and accomplishment and reaffirmed solidarity.
