8月1日，自然科学研究科日中韓環境・エコ技術特別コースは，本学の大学間国際交流協定校であるカンボジア工科大学のロムニー・オム学長を迎え，「第2回アジア環境・エコ技術と政策に関する国際シンポジウム」を開催しました。シンポジウムでは，山崎光悦学長のあいさつの後，ロムニー・オム学長による基調講演がありました。
また，講演に先立ち，ロムニー学長は山崎学長を訪問。懇談では，さらなる交流の可能性について意見交換が行われ，充実した機会となりました。
On August 1, Dr. Romny Om, the Director of Institute of Technology of Cambodia, our university-level international partner, had a keynote speech at “the 2nd International Symposium on Environment, Eco-Technology and Policy in Asia” organized by Environment and Eco-technology Special Course, Graduate School of Natural Science and Technology.
Prior to this event, on July 31, Director Romny paid a courtesy visit to President Yamazaki. At the meeting, there was a discussion about the possibility of further cooperation and exchanges between the two institutions. It was a meaningful opportunity for both parties.
