9月11日，金沢大学医学部記念館において，金沢大学がん進展制御研究所と復旦大学上海がん病院との合同シンポジウムを開催しました。このシンポジウムは，大学院の医薬保健学総合研究科の授業の一環として認定されており，同研究科の大学院生ら100名が参加しました。
シンポジウムでは，復旦大学上海がん病院の叶定伟副病院長による冒頭のあいさつに続き，8人のパネリストが発表。その後，活発な討論が行われるなど，研究者間の交流と最新のがん研究に対する理解を深める絶好の機会となりました。
また，セッション終了後には，本学の向智里理事（研究担当）から，同病院の李影奕准教授に金沢大学コラボラティブ・プロフェッサーの委嘱状が手渡されました。
なお，本シンポジウムに先立つ9月10日には，叶副病院長ほか6名が山崎光悦学長を表敬訪問し，今後の研究交流について積極的に議論を交わしました。
On September 11, Kanazawa University Cancer Research Institute and Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center held a joint symposium at the Memorial Hall, School of Medicine, Kanazawa University.
At the symposium, after the welcome remarks by Vice President Ye, 8 panelists made their presentation and lively debate took place.
The Symposium is certified as a medical course subject of our Graduate School. There were more than 100 participants in total, and the event was a great opportunity for researcher exchanges and deepening the knowledge about the latest cancer research.
After the session by researchers, Trustee Chisato Mukai conferred the Letter of Appointment for ‘Kanazawa University Collaborative Professor’ to the Prof. Li Ying-yi of Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center.
Before the symposium, on September 10th (Thu), Vice President Dingwei Ye and 6 other delegates paid a courtesy visit to President Koetsu Yamazaki and there was positive discussion about future research exchanges.
