9月28日と29日の両日にわたり，角間キャンパス北地区および南地区にて，金沢大学留学生就職促進プログラム（※）の説明会が開催され，両日併せて50名の本学留学生が参加しました。
本プログラムでは，日本に就職を希望する留学生にビジネス日本語やキャリア教育，インターンシッププログラムを提供するとともに，所定の単位を取得した学生には修了証を発行し，グローバル人材の雇用に積極的な日本企業とのマッチングを進めています。
説明会では，プログラムの概要や日本企業への就職活動，各教育プログラムの具体的な内容について，それぞれの担当者から説明がありました。参加した留学生らは，この新しいプログラムに興味津々な様子で，担当者の説明に真剣に聞き入っていました。今後，多くの留学生に参加を呼び掛けていきます。

Orientation for the "Support Program for International Students to Find Employment in Japanese Companies"* was held in the North and the South area of Kakuma Campus on September 28 and 29, and 50 international students participated.
This program offers business Japanese training and career education as well as internship opportunities to international students who wish to find an employment in Japan. Students will receive a certificate upon obtaining the required credits, and they will be matched with Japanese companies enthusiastic about hiring global talents. In the orientation, the scope of the program, methods to search for a job in Japanese firms, and details of the education programs were explained.
The international students in the event showed great interest in this new program and listened very carefully. The program will call for applications from the maximum number of international students.
*This program is commissioned by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. It is a five-year project from fiscal year 2017.
