2月8日，フランス・ストラスブール市において本学とストラスブール大学とのジョイントシンポジウム「Strasbourg-Kanazawa Universities Joint Symposium on Organic Synthesis」を開催し，本学から山崎光悦学長ほか8名の教職員が参加しました。同シンポジウムでは，超分子化学について本学から5名，ストラスブール大学から6名の研究者による発表が行われ，両大学間の研究交流および協同活動を大きく推進する機会となりました。
また同日には，ストラスブール大学のミシェル・ドゥネケン学長への表敬訪問，9日には日本学術振興会ストラスブール研究連絡センターの訪問を行いました。
On February 8, "Strasbourg-Kanazawa Universities Joint Symposium on Organic Synthesis" took place in Strasbourg, France. President Koetsu Yamazaki and 8 faculty and staff members from Kanazawa University participated in the event. Five researchers from Kanazawa and 6 researchers from Strasbourg made presentations in the field of organic synthesis, and it was an essential opportunity to promote research exchanges and collaborations.
Also, on the same day, the delegates paid courtesy visit to Rector Michel Deneken of Strasbourg University, and on February 9 after the symposium, they visited the JSPS Strasbourg Office.
