10月22日,JICA草の根技術協力事業「イフガオ里山マイスター養成プログラム」の研修生13名,昨年度の修了生1名,ホンデュアン町長,マユヤオ町長及び本学の協定校である国立イフガオ大学のエヴァ・ドゥギオン学長ほか3名が本学を訪問,山崎学長を表敬訪問しました。
会では,訪問団代表でイフガオGIAHS持続発展協議会委員でもあるヒラリオ・ブマバガンホンデュアン町長ならびにドゥギオン学長からの挨拶,研修生の自己紹介と研修への意気込みの表明等,活発な懇談が行われ,非常に和やかな雰囲気の中,閉会となりました。
今回の研修で訪問団は,10月21日に来日,26日まで能登での千枚田見学や農家訪問などを含むプログラムに参加します。この研修を通して参加者が積極的に日本での経験等を生かしながら,自国で里山マイスターとしての活動に取り組むことが期待されます。
On October 22, 13 trainees of Ifugao Satoyama Meister Training Program, 1 alumni of last year’s program, Mayors of Honduan and Mayoyao Towns, and President Eva Marie C. Dugyon and 3 delegates from Ifugao State University visited Kanazawa University and paid a courtesy visit to President Yamazaki.
At the meeting, Mr. Hilario T. Bumangabang, Mayor of Honduan and a member of Ifugao GIAHS Sustainable Development Committee offered his greetings on behalf of the delegation, followed by a message from President Dugyon and self-introduction of each trainee, and active conversation took place until the closing time.
The trainees arrived in Japan on October 21, and they will take part in the program until October 26. The program agenda includes visit to Noto senmaida (rice terraces) and farmers’ houses. The trainees are expected take advantage of their experience in Japan and to involve themselves in activities as Satoyama Meister in their home country.
