1月28日，本学国際交流シニアアドバイザー委嘱式が行われ，カザン連邦大学（ロシア）のドミトリー・タユルスキー副学長に，山崎光悦学長から委嘱状が手渡されました。
カザン連邦大学は，本学の大学間国際交流協定校の一つであり，文部科学省「大学の世界展開力強化事業」に採択された本学の「日露をつなぐ未来共創リーダー育成プログラム」等を通じて，研究者や学生の活発な交流を行っています。タユルスキー副学長は，長年にわたって本学との交流プログラムの構築等に尽力されており，今回の称号授与により両大学間の今後のさらなる交流の発展が期待されます。
また，1月29日に開催された本学理工研究域数物科学系主催の「カザン連邦大学-金沢大学ジョイントシンポジウム(物理)」では，タユルスキー副学長による低次元強相関電子系システムに関する特別講義が行われ，参加学生らと意見交換を行いました。
On January 28, the Conferment Ceremony for Kanazawa University International Exchange Senior Advisor took place for Vice President Dmitry Tayursky of Kazan Federal University. He was handed the conferment certificate from President Koetsu Yamazaki.
Professor Tayursky plays a central role in developing collaborative programs between KU and KFU. Our program, “Training Program for Russia-Japan Innovative Leaders of Tomorrow,” has been selected by the Japanese government for the Inter-University Exchange Project with Russia, and we have very active student and researcher exchanges with KFU, our essential university-level partner. There is much anticipation for further cooperation between the two universities.
Also, on January 29, Professor Tayursky gave a special lecture titled “KFU studies in the field of low-dimensional systems of strong-correlated electron systems” in the KU-KFU Joint Symposium on Physics hosted by KU Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Institute of Science and Engineering, and it was followed by an active discussion with the audience.
