3月25日，大学間国際交流協定校の中国・同済大学において，本学および国立六大学国際連携機構の主催で，中国・卓越大学連盟（E9:Excellence 9）とのジョイントシンポジウムを開催し，68名の大学関係者等が参加しました。
シンポジウムは，山崎光悦学長のあいさつに始まり，国立六大学から6名，E9から９名の教職員が，学生のモビリティを高める方策，研究者のモビリティを高める方策の2つのテーマに分かれ，各大学の事例紹介等の発表を行いました。
本シンポジウムをきっかけに，国立六大学とE9の研究者・学生交流がより一層活発になることが期待されます。
また，24日には同じく同済大学において，「金沢大学第３回日中学生学生・研究交流会」を開催し，金沢大学からは27名，中国国内からは総勢31名のトップレベル大学に在籍する大学院生が参加しました。
On March 25, Kanazawa University and SUN-SixERS hosted a joint symposium with E9 (Excellence 9) at Tongji University, our university-level partner. Sixty-eight faculty and staff from the member universities participated.
The symposium opened with a greeting remarks by President Koetsu Yamazaki, and 6 faculty and staff from SixERS and 9 from E9 made presentations about the cases at their universities on the themes of promoting student mobility and researcher mobility.
There is much anticipation for more active researcher and student exchanges between the SixERS and E9 resulting from this symposium.
Moreover, on the 24, “The 3rd China-Japan Research Exchange Conference” took place also at Tongji University, and 27 KU graduate students and 31 graduate students from top-level universities in China took part.
