10月12日，13日の2日間にわたり，金沢大学医薬保健研究域薬学系および医薬保健学域薬学類・創薬科学類附属薬用植物園は，「加賀・能登の薬草シンポジウム」を開催しました。
12日の講演会・報告会では，本学の国際交流協定校である中国の北京大学，瀋陽薬科大学ならびに河南中医薬大学から来学した薬学系教員５名を含む研究者が，生薬資源の現状や最新の研究について講演。約70名の参加者らと活発な研究交流が行われました。また同日には，3大学と本学との学生交流に関する覚書の調印式も行われました。また，翌13日に開催された野外薬草観察会にも65名が参加しました。
本シンポジウムに先立ち，11日には中国3大学からの講演者が山崎光悦学長を表敬訪問し，今後のさらなる交流等について活発な意見が交わされました。
On October 12 and 13, Kanazawa University Faculty of Pharmacy and the Medical Plant Garden hosted an international symposium on medical herbs.
At the symposium, 5 faculty members in pharmacy from the partner universities in China, Peking University, Shenyang Pharmaceutical University and Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine attended as speakers. Approximately 70 persons attended the symposium, and very active research exchanges took place. On the 13th, an observation tour of medical herbs took place, and 65 persons participated.
Before the symposium, the signing ceremony of the MoU on student exchanges among the 3 universities and Kanazawa University also took place.
Also, on the 11th, the delegates paid a courtesy visit to President Koetsu Yamazaki, and a lively discussion took place on further exchanges among the universities.
