10月27日から29日の3日間にわたり，タイ・バンコクのASEAN大学ネットワーク（AUN）事務局からアチャヴァディー・ウィローンペッチオフィスマネージャーほか2名が，2020年10月に金沢で開催予定のASEAN+3学長会議にかかる協議および下見のため来学しました。
訪問団は28日に山崎光悦学長を表敬訪問し，来年の会議開催に向けた協力や会議の内容などについて懇談しました。また，29日までの期間中，一行は会場となる金沢市内のホテルやエクスカーション予定地などを視察しました。
今回の訪問が本会議の実施に大きく寄与することが期待されます。
本学は，開催当番校として，今後もAUN事務局と密に連携しながらASEAN+3の学長らが一堂に会する一大イベントの開催に向け，準備を進めていきます。
From October 27 to 29, Mrs. Achavadee Wiroonpetch, Office Manager, and 2 other officers from the ASEAN University Network Secretariat in Thailand visited Kanazawa University to discuss the arrangements and preview the venues of the ASEAN+3 Rectors’ Conference which will take place in Kanazawa next October.
On the 28, the officers paid a courtesy visit to President Koetsu Yamazaki, and shared their thoughts on the upcoming conference. Also, during their stay, the officers visited the venue of the conference, which is a hotel in the city, and observed the contents of the excursion.
This time’s visit is sure to contribute to the success of the conference.
As the host of the next major event where the universities leaders of ASEAN+3 come together, KU will continue to make arrangements in close collaboration with AUN.
