1月9日，グアテマラ共和国から長﨑輝章在グアテマラ日本国特命全権大使が，同日に行われる金沢大学ティカル世界遺産プロジェクト特別講演のために来学し，中村学長を表敬訪問しました。会談では，山崎理事（研究・国際担当）・副学長，中村慎一理事（教育担当）・副学長らが同席し，グアテマラ共和国と本学との今後の具体的な交流に関する意見交換を行いました。終始和やかな雰囲気で運ばれ，今後の交流に向けて充実した会談となりました。
On Wednesday, January 9, H.E. Teruaki Nagasaki, Japanese Ambassador to the Republic of Guatemala paid a courtesy visit for The special lecture of World Mixed Heritage Tikal Overall Project and visit to President Nakamura. Five other faculty and staff members of our university were present at the meeting, and there was a discussion on future exchanges between Guatemala and Kanazawa University. The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere, and there was active free discussion. The meeting was a meaningful opportunity for the realization of future exchanges.
