10月14日,アメリカ・イリノイカレッジと大学間交流協定を締結しました。エリザベス・トービン副学長他4名の訪問団一行が来学し,調印式には本学から中村信一学長,長野勇理事(研究・国際担当),生田省悟人間社会学域長,鹿島正裕国際学類長らが出席。この協定により,学生・研究者等の交流の発展が期待されます。調印の後は,両大学の印象を語り合うなどなごやかな雰囲気の中で,今後の交流の具体化に向けて協議しました。

On Friday, October 14, Vice President Elizabeth Tobin and four other delegates from Illinois College in the United States paid a courtesy visit to President Nakamura to sign the Agreement for Cooperation and Exchange with Kanazawa University. The meeting was in a friendly atmosphere as they talked about their impression of each other’s institution or about the souvenirs that were exchanged. From our university, Vice President for Research and International Affairs Isamu Nagano, Dean Shogo Ikuta of the Institute of Human and Social Sciences, Professor Kiyotoshi Murakami, Professor Taku Yamamoto, and Professor Bun-ei Kohara were in attendance. After the signing, they held conversations to encourage future cooperation.
