7月3日，金沢市内で，金沢大学ステークホルダー協議会を開催し，在学生，保護者，高校関係者，地域住民，企業関係者，学内関係者など約80名が出席しました。そのうち約半数はオンラインでの出席です。
これは，日頃から本学へ多大な支援・協力を頂いている方々に対して，本学の教育，研究，運営などの近況を報告するとともに，意見や要望を頂くために平成27年度から開催しているもので，今回は6回目の開催となりました。学生や保護者，企業関係者に対してなど，個々の対象者の方々との懇談会などは行っておりますが，一堂に会しておこなうのは，この協議会のみです。
協議会では，山崎光悦学長からのあいさつ，本学の近況報告の後，出席したステークホルダーの方々との意見交換を実施。意見交換では，卒業生や企業関係者，地域の団体など，さまざまな立場の方から本学への要望や激励など，多くの意見を頂くことができました。
On July 3rd, the Kanazawa University Stakeholder Council was held in Kanazawa City, with approximately 80 attendees including current students, parents, high school representatives, local residents, corporate partners, and university staff. About half of the participants attended the meeting online.
This event, now in its 6th year, has been held since the fiscal year 2015 to report the current status of the university’s education, research, and operations to those who have been providing significant support and cooperation to the university. It serves as a platform to gather opinions and suggestions. While individual discussions with students, parents, corporate partners, and others have been conducted separately, this council is the only occasion where all stakeholders gather in one place.
During the council, President Koetsu Yamazaki delivered an opening address, followed by a report on the current status of the university and an exchange of opinions with the stakeholders who attended the meeting. The discussions involved various perspectives, including alumni, corporate partners, local organizations, and others, providing a wealth of opinions, requests, and encouragement to the university.
