6月11日，在日タイ王国大使館からアリニー・タナワットサッチャセーリー学生部公使参事官ほか2名の訪問団が来学し，山崎光悦理事（研究・国際担当）を表敬訪問しました。
会談には，タイ政府派遣留学生の担当教員である理工研究域機械工学系の米山猛教授も同席し，本学の概要や特徴，得意分野などの大学紹介が行われました。また，留学生の受入れ状況や本学が求める学生像についても意見交換が行われ，非常に充実した懇談となりました。
On Monday, June 11, Minister Counselor for Education, Ms. Alinee Thanawatsuggasari, and two other delegates from Royal Thai Embassy paid a courtesy visit to Vice President Yamazaki. The purpose of this visit was to discuss the present state of Thai student exchange at our university, taking into account our uniqueness and strengths, as well as the desired types of students. Professor Yoneyama from School of Mechanical Engineering, adviser to a Thai student, was also in attendance, and there was introduction of the universities followed by much discussion.
