8月25日，タイのモンクット王工科大学トンブリ(KMUTT)と本学とのジョイントシンポジウムを開催し，KMUTTのソロット・スワナユェン副学長，本学の山崎光悦学長をはじめ，両大学の教職員および学生ら約70名が参加しました。
KMUTTと本学は，2000年4月に大学間国際交流協定を締結し，交流を深めてきました。KMUTTにおいて開催した今回のシンポジウムでは，両大学の親交と研究交流をさらに深めることを目的に，最先端の研究発表や活発な意見交換が行われ，有意義な機会となりました。
On August 25th, the Joint Symposium between King Mongkut’s University of Technology-Thonburi (KMUTT) and Kanazawa University took place, and approximately 70 participants including Vice President Solot Suwanayuen of KMUTT, President Koetsu Yamazaki, and faculty, staff and students from both universities took part.
KMUTT and our university concluded the university-level international partnership in April 2000, and have enjoyed many exchanges. In this time’s symposium, which was held on KMUTT campus, there were presentations of the most advanced research results with the purpose of promoting research exchange and bringing the two universities closer. The event was a meaningful opportunity for active exchange of ideas on both sides.
