駐日タイ王国大使館学生部公使参事官が来学 Minister Counsellor of Royal Thai Embassy to Japan Visits President Yamazaki

6月11日，駐日タイ王国大使館からポーンピット・ソムウォン学生部公使参事官ほか2名が来学し，山崎光悦学長を訪問しました。懇談では，タイ政府派遣留学生の本学での受入れをはじめ，タイの高等教育機関とのさらなる交流の可能性などについて意見交換が行われ，充実した機会となりました。

また，同日，ポーンピット公使参事官は角間キャンパスを視察し，本学のタイ人留学生と懇談しました。

On Wednesday, June 11, Ms. Pornpit Somwong, Minister Counsellor (Education) of Royal Thai Embassy to Japan, and 2 other delegates paid a courtesy visit to President Yamazaki. At the meeting, there was a discussion about the intake of Thai government-sponsored students at Kanazawa University, as well as the possibility of further exchanges with the institutions of higher education in Thailand. The meeting was a meaningful opportunity for both parties.

Also, during the visit, Ms. Pornpit toured Kakuma Campus and attended a meeting with the Thai international students at Kanazawa University.
