JICA草の根技術協力事業「イフガオ里山マイスター養成プログラム」研修生が来学

9月23日，JICA草の根技術協力事業「イフガオ里山マイスター養成プログラム」の研修生12名，昨年度の修了生3名及びイフガオ州大学の引率教員4名が来学し，山崎光悦学長を表敬訪問しました。

はじめに，訪問団代表で引率教員を務めるイフガオ州大学のアンソニー・バブケブ・カンテス准教授が挨拶。その後，研修生による自己紹介と研修への意気込みの表明があり，和やかな雰囲気の中，活発な懇談が行われました。

9月19日に来日した訪問団は，24日まで能登での千枚田見学や農家訪問などを含むプログラムに参加。この研修をとおして，研修生が積極的に日本での経験などを活かしながら自国で里山マイスターとしての活動に取り組むことが期待されます。

 

On September 23, 12 trainees of Ifugao Satoyama Meister Training Program, 3 alumni of last year’s program, and 4 chaperone faculty members of Ifugao State University visited Kanazawa University and paid a courtesy visit to President Yamazaki.

At the meeting, Associate Professor Anthony Babkeg Cantes of Ifugao State University offered his greetings on behalf of the delegation, followed by self-introduction of each trainee, and active conversation took place until the closing time.

The trainees arrived in Japan on September 19, and they will take part in the program until September 24. The program agenda includes visit to Noto senmaida (rice terraces) and farmers’ houses. The trainees are expected take advantage of their experience in Japan and to involve themselves in activities as Satoyama Meister in their home country.
