8月29日，タイの大学間国際交流協定校・プリンスオブソンクラ大学のチュサック・リムサクル学長，チュアン・リークパイ顧問（元タイ王国首相），チャラス・スワンウェラ理事長夫妻ほか10名が来学しました。大谷吉生副学長（国際担当）を表敬訪問したのち，本学との交流促進に関する打合せが行われ，特に法学，工学および医学系分野における今後のさらなる交流等について積極的に意見が交わされました。
On August 29, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chusak Limsakul, President of Prince of Songkla University (PSU), our university-level partner in Thailand, H.E. Mr. Chuan Leekpai, Former Prime Minister of Thailand and Counselor of PSU University Council, Prof. Emeritus Dr. Charas Suwanwela, Chairman of PSU University Council, accompanied by his spouse, and 10 other delegates visited Kanazawa University. The delegation paid a courtesy visit to Vice President for International Affairs Yoshio Otani, and participated in a discussion about promoting exchanges between the two universities. At the meetings, a lively discussion took place on making further exchanges especially in the areas of law, engineering and medicine.
