国立イフガオ大学との大学間国際交流協定を締結
KU Concludes the University-Level Partnership with Ifugao State University

4月17日，本学はフィリピン・国立イフガオ大学と大学間国際交流協定を締結しました。本学で挙行した調印式には，国立イフガオ大学からセラフィン・L・ゴハヨン学長，イフガオ州政府からペドロ・G・マヤモ州知事，JICA北陸支部から仁田知樹支部長らが出席しました。

調印に続き，本学がイフガオ州で行っているJICA 草の根事業「世界農業遺産（GIAHS）『イフガオの棚田』の持続的発展のための人材養成プログラムの構築支援事業」（略称：「イフガオ里山マイスター養成プログラム」）をはじめ，今後のさらなる交流について活発な意見交換が行われました。

 

On April 17, Kanazawa University concluded the university-level Agreement for Cooperation and Exchange with Ifugao State University in the Philippines. President Serafin L. Ngohayon from Ifugao State University, Governor Pedro G. Mayam-o of Ifugao, and Director Tomoki Nitta and 1 other delegate from JICA Hokuriku attended the signing ceremony at Kakuma Campus. After the signing, there was a lively discussion about the on-going JICA Grass-root Project “Ifugao Satoyama Meister Training Program (IMSTP)” and the future student and researcher exchanges.
