6月15日，タイの大学間協定校モンクット王工科大学トンブリ（KMUTT）から，アナック・カンタチャワナ学長補佐（国際担当）と17名の学生が来学しました。一行は，田中茂雄学長補佐（国際担当）による歓迎あいさつと大学紹介，キャンパスツアーの後機械工学系・電子情報通信系・フロンティア科学系の3グループに分かれて研究室を訪問しました。研究室訪問では，各グループが本学の最先端研究などについて説明を受け，活発な質疑応答が行われました。
今回の訪問によるKMUTTとのさらなる学生及び研究者交流促進が期待されます。
On June 15th, Advisor to the President (International Affairs) Anak Khantachawana and 17 students from our university-level partner, King Mongkut’s University of Technology-Thonburi (KMUTT) in Thailand, visited Kanazawa University (KU). They received words of welcome and brief introduction of KU from Prof. Shigeo Tanaka, Advisor to the President for International Affairs, toured the campus, and visited laboratories of Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology, and Frontier Sciences in 3 groups. During the laboratory visits, the students actively asked questions about the research at KU.
There is anticipation for this time’s visit to promote further student and researcher exchanges with KMUTT.
