城戸照彦教授がベトナム・ハノイ医科大学から名誉教授を再授与 Hanoi Medical University, Vietnam has awarded another Honorary Professor for Prof. Teruhiko Kido, Faculty of Health Sciences

9月16日,医薬保健研究域保健学系の城戸照彦教授がハノイ医科大学のHinh学長から名誉教授(無期限)の称号を授与されました。これは,2009年の名誉教授の称号(期間3年)授与に続くものです。
城戸照彦教授は,2002年よりハノイ医科大学とダイオキシンの健康影響について共同研究を開始し,以降,調査研究を継続してきました。ベトナムの研究者に紹介した本学の心臓外科医がベトナムでの手術に貢献し,また,ハノイ医科大学の公衆衛生学部開設記念講演会でダイオキシン研究の報告をするなど,本学とハノイ医科大学の交流を進めています。
今後も,ハノイ医科大学をはじめベトナムと本学との交流が継続し,発展することが期待されます。

On September 16, Professor Teruhiko Kido of Faculty of Health Sciences, Institute of Medical, Pharmaceutical and Health Sciences was awarded the title of honorary professor (indefinite duration) from Rector Hinh of Hanoi Medical University. This followed the conferment of the title of honorary professor (3 years duration) in 2009.
Professor Teruhiko Kido has been researching about the effects on human health by dioxin exposure jointly with Hanoi Medical University since 2002 and has continued survey and research since then. The cardiac surgeon from Kanazawa University who was introduced to the researcher in Vietnam contributed to a surgery in Vietnam, and reported the findings in the research on dioxin at the anniversary lecture on establishment of the Department of Public Health at Hanoi Medical University. In many such instances, Kanazawa University has promoted exchanges with Hanoi Medical University.
It is expected that the exchange with Hanoi Medical University as well as Vietnam will continue and develop into the future.
