5月14日，駐日アイルランド大使館ドナル・ケニアリー副代表と本学名誉教授の楠根重和石川EU協会副会長が来学し，中村学長を訪問しました。会談では，アイルランドと金沢大学の今後のさらなる交流の可能性などについて意見交換が行われ，充実した機会となりました。
その後，ケニアリー副代表は，中央図書館で「アイルランドとEU」と題し講演。学生や市民ら約90人が耳を傾けました。
On Tuesday, May 14, Mr. Donal Kenneally, Deputy Head of Mission and Counsellor of the Embassy of Ireland in Japan and Vice Chairman Shigekazu Kusune of Ishikawa EU Association (Honorary Professor of Kanazawa University) paid a courtesy visit to President Nakamura. At the meeting, there was a meaningful discussion about the possibility of further student exchanges between Kanazawa University and Ireland.
After the courtesy visit, Mr. Kenneally gave a lecture titled "Ireland and EU" at the event hosted at the Central University Library. Approximately 90 students and local residents attended the event.
