若手研究者交流支援事業による招へい研究者が学長表敬 Researchers invited under Exchange Program for East Asian Young Researchers met with the President of Kanazawa University

9月10日，若手研究者交流支援事業による招へい研究者12名が学長表敬を行いました。

日本学術振興会若手研究者交流支援事業‐東アジア首脳会談参加国からの招へい‐（研究課題名：東南アジアの環境保全を目的とする若手研究者ネットワークの構築）により，タイ，インドネシア及びベトナムから若手研究者が12名，8月27日から9月17日までの間，金沢大学に招へいされています。

若手研究者達の自己紹介の後，中村学長が金沢大学の概要を説明し，また，学長や本学の教授達とともに環境研究等について懇談しました。

On Thursday, September 10th, twelve researchers who are here under the Exchange Program for East Asian Young Researchers visited to meet with the President of Kanazawa University.

These researchers from Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam have been invited to Kanazawa University between Aug. 27th and Sep. 17th, 2009 under the JSPS’ Exchange Program for East Asian Young Researchers – Invitation from EAS Member Countries- (Project Title: Building of Young Researchers’ Network for Environmental Preservation).

After each researcher introduced themselves, President Nakamura gave an overview of Kanazawa University. They also exchanged information with the president and some teaching staff about their environmental research and other topics.
