本学は「地域に根差した国際化モデルの構築」事業の一環として，金沢市教育委員会と連携して，「英語交流プロジェクト」を実施しています。
これは子どもたちの外国への理解を深めることを目的としたもので，本学留学生を小学校に派遣して文化や英語の交流を行う事業です。9月12日には医学系研究科博士後期課程2年のゴラム・アッバスさんが，金沢市内小学校を訪れ，英語で母国のバングラデシュについて紹介しました。子どもたちはアッバスさんに質問をしたり，リコーダーの演奏を披露しました。留学生らは9月中に金沢市内の計8つの市立小学校を訪問します。
Kanazawa-city and Kanazawa University works together for "Ambassador for internationalization" project at elementary schools in Kanazawa.
This project is for children in Kanazawa to deepen their interests and understanding in foreign countries. On September 12th, Mr.Md Golam Abbas (Graduate school of Medical Science) had visited an elementary school in Kanazawa to make a presentation about Bangladesh, his home country and school kids performed playing the recorder in return. Some Kanazawa University international students visit 8 elementary schools in total and introduce their home country and culture in English during September.
