	Kevin Paquette (Director, English Language Programs) : Kevin Paquette is the Director for the English Language Programs at Tufts University. In this capacity, he directs the operations of the many English language programs. He has devoted his professional career to international exchange programs and has extensive experience working in NGOs. He received a B.A. in Politics from Fairfield University in 2001 and an International Master’s in Russian Studies from the European University in St. Petersburg, Russia, in 2002.

	Josephine Altovino (Instructor) : Jamie Rosenberg began teaching English in 2002, and has been involved in international education ever since. After studying Linguistics and TESOL at Earlham College, he spent several years working for the International Affairs Section of a local government in the Tohoku region of Japan. He later received a master’s degree from Tufts University’s Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, and studied Modern Japanese History at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. He has been working with Tufts University’s English Language Programs since 2013, while also helping to start an international education company in Cambridge, Massachusetts. His hobbies include studying Japanese, cooking, and playing blues guitar.

She graduated from Boston University for both her A.B. in English, and Ed.D. in Applied Psycholinguistics, and then completed a Post-doctoral research fellowship at the Boston University School of Medicine.

	Carsten Booth : grew up in the beach town of La Jolla, California, a dedicated and passionate surfer. Graduating from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a B.A. in Philosophy, Carsten continued onto the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art, where he received a postgraduate degree in Classical Theater, and then at L’Ecole Internationale de Théâtre Lassaad in Brussels, where he studied Commedia Dell’Arte and performance for 2 years. After his studies, he went into ESL teaching full-time in Belgium, giving classes to over 500 students of all ages in 7 different schools. Upon completing his TESOL certification with the David Nunan TESOL Institute at Anaheim University, Carsten moved to Boston in January 2017 to take on a new professional challenge with Tufts in the capital of higher-level education. He currently lives in Brussels, where he teaches business English with his company, TradOffice, and instructs for the Tufts-Kanazawa ELP. Thanks to his prior experiences, Carsten has seen that the most effective learning takes place in classrooms where students are having fun while being challenged, so he always strives to make this happen!
