On March 30th, 3 second-year students from Izumigaoka Senior High School’s Super Global High School Project visited President Yamazaki, Vice President Shibata and Vice President Fukumori in order to propose a plan of establishing Kanazawa University’s College of Agriculture and Fisheries in Suzu city as a preventive measure for population decrease in that region. They came up with this plan as a part of Super Global High School Project class assignment, Super Global Exploration (task-oriented research for second-year students).
A lively discussion took place on Education・Research・The Center of Community Project between Kanazawa University and Suzu City, issues Noto region and Ishikawa prefecture are facing and so on. Through the discussion, it became clear that the students had acquired much awareness for their future task-oriented research.
