On July 7th, Kanazawa University hosted “Tanabata Fes”, a gathering for International Students and Researchers 2022. A total of 46 international Students and Researchers participated in the gathering.

In the first half of the event, participants wrote wishes on Tanzaku (strips of colored paper) in different languages and hanged them on bamboo branches.

In the second half, they watched an animation about Tanabata and made various paper ornaments to decorate the bamboo branches.

The participants got to know each other better in a pleasant atmosphere.

This event aims to provide an opportunity to deepen ties and exchange information among them for fulfilling campus life. The gathering will be held three times this year.
