On April 20th, the Skill-up Center of Institute of Liberal Arts and Sciences held a training course for “High Ranking Teaching Assistants,” and 5 doctoral students participated in the course.
As part of the KU Top Global University Project, several particularly able doctoral students are appointed to the post of “High Ranking Teaching Assistants,” who support professors in their classes with advanced skills.
This training course consists of eight sessions, and the participants learn about the role of faculty, the teaching methods and so on. Also, the workshop for creating syllabus and the classroom observation are included in the course. They are expected to become university faculty members in the future.
