On June 26, Kanazawa University EU Information Center hosted a special lecture at the Central Library as a part of Japan-EU Friendship Week 2017 events.
At the lecture, H. E. Dr. Norbert Palanovics, the Hungarian Ambassador to Japan, delivered a lecture titled “Hungary: an Important Player in EU’s Agriculture” to the audience of about 50 participants including students and faculty members, and a very lively question and answer session followed.
After the lecture, the Ambassador and Mr. Shigekazu Kusune, Professor Emeritus Kanazawa University, President of Ishikawa-EU Association had a meeting with President Koetsu Yamazaki, Trustee for Information Yoshihiro Fukumori, and there were positive discussions about the history and the current situation in Hungary and the exchanges with Japan.
