On February 11 and 12, a roundtable for high school-university linkage took place at Kanazawa Chamber of Commerce& Industry, and approximately 120 persons from within and outside the university participated in the event.
On the first day, there was a warm up session after the opening address from KU Vice President SHIBATA. Following the session, high school students and university students made presentations and had discussion on their research. President YAMAZAKI of KU joined one of the tables and listened attentively to the activities and research report from the students.
On the second day, all participants conducted research activity, discussed and shared their results under the theme of “”Designing an entrance exam that connects exploration and research.” Heated discussion took place throughout the two days, which gave participants the opportunity to evoke strong interest in the system reform of high school–university linkage.
