From May 4 to 5, 2018, the 120th Anniversary of Peking University Commemorative Celebration and the World University Presidents Forum 2018 took place in Beijing, China, and President Koetsu Yamazaki and 2 other delegates participated from Kanazawa University. Over 500 guests attended the commemoration ceremony on the 4^th, and a grand party took followed.

At the World University Presidents Forum, there were keynote speeches and sessions on the theme, “Changes and Constants: Universities and Civilizations during the Past 120 Years,” and active discussions took place.

Also, on the 5^th, President Yamazaki and the delegates attended a networking party with the members of Kanazawa University International Alumni Association in Beijing.
There is anticipation for further promotion of exchanges with China.
