On July 26^th, 2018, AUN^※ held The 4^th ASEAN+3 Rector’s Conference in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. President Koetsu Yamazaki, Vice President Yoshio Otani and 3 other faculty and staff participated in the conference.

President Yamazaki served as the moderator a part of the conference and there were some presentations and discussion of activities and future plans of ASEAN universities.

In 2020, Kanazawa University will be the next host of the conference so that there was a taking over ceremony.
It expects that the collaboration between Kanazawa University and ASEAN universities will be much more activate in the next conference.

AUN…AUN (ASEAN University Network) is an international university association which had proposed in The 4^th ASEAN Summit in 1992 and established in 1995.(30 member universities from 10 countries of ASEAN)
