On October 16, Dr. Gediminas Ramanauskas, First Counsellor and Head of Science, Innovation, Digital, and Other EU Policies Section of Delegation of the European Union to Japan, visited the Trustees, Dr. Chisato Mukai and Dr. Yoshihiro Fukumori. At the meeting, there were discussions about collaborations between EU and Kanazawa University, Nano Life Science Institute(WPI-NanoLSI).
After that, Prof. Hiroshi Kawasaki, Prof. Yoshiya Kasahara and Prof. Norio Tokuda introduced their researches, then suggested concretely how to enhance EU-Japan research collaboration and frankly exchanged their opinions with Dr. Ramanauskas. Our research networks for EU will be developed much further.
