On September 29, 30 and October 7, “Workshop for Active Learning Adviser (ALA) at the College of Medical, Pharmaceutical and Health Sciences in Autumn Semester, 2015” took place. 28 ALAs are hired in 3 courses at the college for this semester.

Associate Prof. Kimikazu SUGIMORI gave a lecture on what is active learning, what is the aim of ALA system and what they do. Afterward, the participants tried to acquire the practical skills necessary for ALA through “Think-Pair-Share” and “Role Playing”, both of which are practical methods of active learning.
