On November 25, Prof. Seiichi Nakamura of the Center for Cultural Resource Studies was honored with the Consul General’s Commendation in the Embassy of Japan in Guatemala. In the commendation ceremony, Mr. Eiichi Kawahara, the ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Japan to Guatemala, awarded the certificate of appreciation to Prof. Nakamura.

This commendation was led by his contribution to promote academic exchanges and cooperation in the field of Archaeology, and friendship between the two countries.
