On February 19, Dr. Stefan Wiktor, Team Leader of World Health Organization’s Global Hepatitis Programme, visited Kanazawa University and gave a lecture for the students, faculty and staff of medical sciences at the WHO Special Seminar.  There were approximately 80 audiences at the seminar.

Prior to the seminar, Dr. Wiktor observed Takaramchi Campus and attended meetings with the faculty members of medical sciences. Also, Dr. Wiktor paid a courtesy visit to President Koetsu Yamazaki, and a lively discussion took place on the exchanges between WHO and Kanazawa University.
