On May 9, Prof. Ilshat Gafurov, Rector of Kazan Federal University, and 3 other delegates visited Kanazawa University and participated in the Roundtable Conference with the faculty members from the Faculty of Medicine and Cancer Research Center. At the conference, there were presentations on the medical research at each university and an active discussion on the possibility of exchanging students and researchers. After the conference, the delegates observed the Medical Museum and the University Hospital.

Also, the delegates paid a courtesy visit to President Koetsu Yamazaki, and a lively discussion took place on further exchanges between the two universities.
