On April 1, Institute of Liberal Arts and Science Unveiling Ceremony took place, and President Koetsu Yamazaki, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs Masayoshi Shibata, Dean of the Institute of Liberal Arts and Science Shigeki Otake, and approximately 50 faculty and staff attended the event.

The Institute was established as a new institute responsible for the new curriculum in general education based on “Kanazawa University ‘Global’ Standard (KUGS.)”

At the ceremony, President Yamazaki said that he would like the Institute to enhance the general education, and to contribute to nurture “Kanazawa University Brand” human resources.
