Orientation for the “Support Program for International Students to Find Employment in Japanese Companies”* was held in the North and the South area of Kakuma Campus on September 28 and 29, and 50 international students participated.
This program offers business Japanese training and career education as well as internship opportunities to international students who wish to find an employment in Japan. Students will receive a certificate upon obtaining the required credits, and they will be matched with Japanese companies enthusiastic about hiring global talents. In the orientation, the scope of the program, methods to search for a job in Japanese firms, and details of the education programs were explained.
The international students in the event showed great interest in this new program and listened very carefully. The program will call for applications from the maximum number of international students.
*This program is commissioned by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. It is a five-year project from fiscal year 2017.
